Stop in for a chat with representatives from the City of Thornton's Active Adult Center as they spend a couple of hours learning about their programs, services, and resources for Thornton residents.
The Thornton Active Adult Center is a space for those 55+ to learn, grow, and build community. Through fitness programs, lectures, art and culinary workshops, a daily lunch program and outdoor recreation; participants are able to expand social networks, maintain their health and explore the world around them.
We are located at 11181 Colorado Blvd. Thornton 80233. We are a Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. operation with a staff ready to serve. We also accept Silver Sneakers, Renew Active and Silver & Fit benefits!

Anythink Huron Street is a 25,000-square-foot library located at the intersection of Conifer and Huron streets in Thornton. On Feb. 6, 2010, this fantastic facility opened its doors to library customers in the communities of Northglenn, Thornton, Federal Heights and surrounding areas. Anythink Huron Street is Gold LEED certified and includes fun, inspiring spaces for all ages to enjoy.
