Sean professional plays the kora, a 21-stringed West African harp. Many songs featured on the kora preserve an 800 year history dating back to the founding of the Mande empire. Sean has trained under experts in Gambia and Senegal for nearly two decades. In this one hour performance, Sean will share with us the stories and techniques of this unique instrument.
Appropriate for all ages. This program will be hosted in English. No advanced registration necessary.
