mySummer: Pollinator Pals
mySummer: Amigos polinizadores
Saturday, June 27
10:00am - 12:00pm
Celebrate National Pollinator Week by becoming a Pollinator Pal and helping local bees and butterflies thrive!
In this hands-on library workshop, kids will build their own wooden flower box with guest artists Ren Cannon andNoel Ordonez of Art Students League of Denver. We'll then fill the homemade flower boxes with soil, and plant a selection of native, pollinator-friendly flowers.
Nurture and tend to your garden box at home, providing a continuous food source for pollinators throughout the season.
Appropriate for families with children ages 4 and older. Children will need to be supervised while working with tools. Register as a family group to receive materials for one flower box to build, fill, plant and grow together. List all participating members of your group.
