Join us for this hands-on teen learn to sew bootcamp led by expert maker Deb! Over the course of this camp-style series, you’ll build your sewing confidence step by step by starting with beginner-friendly projects like pillowcases, then leveling up to tote bags and pencil pouches. By the final session, you’ll bring it all together to create your very own gardening apron. No experience needed, just bring your creativity and curiosity. Come ready to learn, laugh and thrive in a new creative craft one stitch at a time. Appropriate for ages 12–18. This program will be hosted in English. Space is limited; registration is required. *Every sewing machine is unique! Though we will have machines available the day of, if you have your own personal machine that you can easily bring to and from the library, please feel free to!

Anythink Thornton Community Center is our newest library branch. Partnering with the City of Thornton, Anythink has a 8,000-square-foot library within the community center. The library features the classic Anythink reading fireplace, study rooms, teen space, and children’s space plus a new complete Studio makerspace.
