We’re kicking off summer with a curated lineup of powerful, short-form documentaries from previous MountainFilm Festivals. These aren’t your typical classroom films. Expect bold stories, real-world issues, and moments that will make you think, feel and maybe even want to change something. After each film, we’ll hang out and talk about what stood out, what surprised us and what stuck with us. No pressure — just good conversation and big ideas. Whether you’re a regular TCTAB member or joining for the first time, this is a great chance to experience festival-quality films at the library and get excited for the Telluride MountainFilm Festival, happening May 21–25. Bring a friend, bring your curiosity and come ready to see things a little differently. Appropriate for ages 12-18 (or at least in 6th grade). This program will be hosted in English. Registration not required.

About the branch
Anythink Thornton Community Center is our newest library branch. Partnering with the City of Thornton, Anythink has a 8,000-square-foot library within the community center. The library features the classic Anythink reading fireplace, study rooms, teen space, and children’s space plus a new complete Studio makerspace.
