Experience the vibrant music, dance, and traditions of ancient Mexico in this interactive cultural program led by award-winning artist Lorenzo J. Ramirez. Presented in full ceremonial regalia with natural instruments, Lorenzo will guide us on a journey into the history and legacy of the Azteca people.
Danza Azteca is a form of prayer expressed through dance, music, and singing. This program is a dynamic blend of storytelling, performance, and hands-on learning.
Appropriate for children in grades 3–6 (ages 8–12). Space is limited; registration required. Please register each child who will be participating in the program.

Vive la música vibrante, bailes y tradiciones del antiguo México en este programa cultural interactivo guiado por el artista premiado Lorenzo J. Ramirez. Presentado en traje ceremonial completo con instrumentos naturales, Lorenzo nos guiará en un viaje por la historia y el legado del pueblo azteca.
La danza azteca es una forma de oración expresada a través del baile, la música y el canto. Este programa es una mezcla dinámica de narración, actuación y aprendizaje práctico.

About the branch
Anythink Huron Street is a 25,000-square-foot library located at the intersection of Conifer and Huron streets in Thornton. On Feb. 6, 2010, this fantastic facility opened its doors to library customers in the communities of Northglenn, Thornton, Federal Heights and surrounding areas. Anythink Huron Street is Gold LEED certified and includes fun, inspiring spaces for all ages to enjoy.
