Explore the meaning and artistry behind patterns in this online workshop, Motifs & Patterns: Fundamentals of Design, on August 11.

Participants will learn how cultural histories, symbols and storytelling traditions shape the motifs found in textiles, clothing and other art forms across the world. Through guided discussion and creative practice, students will be able to examine how patterns express identity and community, then create their own designs using either digital tools or traditional materials.

This virtual program will be hosted online in Anythink World. Please note: First time users will need to register/make an account in order to access the site.
