In this hands-on class, learn to prepare foods from scratch. Make parata, layered flatbread made using whole wheat flour, rajma masala, a great addition for vegetarians, steamed kidney beans simmered in a mild spicy sauce, and rice kheer, Indian pudding made by simmering rice in milk, garnished with nuts and saffron. Appropriate for tweens and teens ages 12 to 17. Space is limited; registration required.
