Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMoCA) and Anythink present “Recontextualized Roots,” a three-part art installation by local artist Diego Florez-Arroyo, which was created with our library branches and their communities in mind.
Anythink Thornton Community Library is now hosting “Blue Transformation.” Made from wood, wire, paint, fabric and screws, this mobile sculpture incorporates Bauhaus influences and dragonfly motifs that symbolize transformation, adaptability and self-realization. Did you know that dragonflies spend 1-5 years living in the water until they fully develop. Once mature, they only spend 1-8 weeks of their adult life flying.
