Join Adams County Poet Laureate Aerik Francis at the new Anythink Nature Library for a poetry writing workshop on ecopoetry.
Ecopoetry can be about ecosystems, animals, agriculture, climate change, water and even food. This workshop will offer participants tools to writeabout the nature around us while asking deeper questions about our relationships among rapidly changing environments. Find inspiration in the natural spaces of the library and surrounding areas while writing and performing poetry in community.
Appropriate for teens and adults. This program will be hosted in English. Space is limited to 30 people; registration required.

La ecopoesía puede tratar de ecosistemas, animales, agricultura, cambio climático, agua e incluso sobre alimentos. The Anythink Nature Library is a place where curiosity and care for the natural world take root. Grounded in the Environmental Kinship Model and shaped with insight from Indigenous and Native American leaders on the Anythink Nature Library Advisory Council, this experience-driven space invites visitors of all ages to explore their connection to nature through welcoming environments, hands-on TryIts, and guidance from knowledgeable experts — all within a community hub designed for learning, reflection, and discovery.
