Wind and water change even the stones around us, and we can use erosion processes to reveal the hidden beauty of rocks. Appropriate for all ages. Children 6 and up welcome with a responsible adult.
Gather stones during a walk on our trail loop or choose from our selection, then decide which ones to put into our rock tumbler for polishing. Stop back by the library over the next few weeks to see how the stones are progressing. Participants will be invited back to choose one of the finished tumbled stones to take home.
