National Hummingbird Day
Día Nacional de los Colibríes
Saturday, September 05
9:00am - 5:00pm
Flutter on over to the library for a self-guided journey celebrating nature’s smallest, speediest feathered friends.
Stop at interactive learning stations to uncover fascinating facts about hummingbirds, try out small hands-on activities and see the world through a hummingbird's eyes. Best of all, at every station you conquer, you’ll collect a piece of a special prize. By the end of your adventure, you'll have gathered all the components needed to build your very own DIY hummingbird feeder to take home and hang in your yard!
Appropriate for all ages. This self-guided program will include signs in English and Spanish. No advanced registration necessary, but feeders are while supplies last.
