Sugar calaveras are crafted for Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, to honor and remember departed loved ones. Deeply rooted in Mexican culture, this tradition serves as a means of preserving heritage and fostering creativity.
Appropriate for ages 8 to 12. Space is limited; registration required.
Aprende a decorar calaveras (calaveras de azúcar) con el Consejo Chicano de Humanidades y Artes (CHAC).
Las calaveras de azúcar se hacen para el Día de los Muertos, para honrar y recordar a los seres queridos que han fallecido. Esta tradición, muy arraigada en la cultura mexicana, es una manera de conservar la herencia y fomentar la creatividad.
Apropiado para edades de 8 a 12 años. El espacio es limitado; se requiere inscripción.

Anythink Huron Street is a 25,000-square-foot library located at the intersection of Conifer and Huron streets in Thornton.
