Develop your art skills and express your imagination during our time together with our guest artist, Kit Hernandez.
In November, we'll dive into the vibrant Mexican folk art tradition of hojalata. Celebrate the rich history and colorful craftmanship, while learning to make your own stunning hojalata (tin) art ornament to brighten any occasion.
Appropriate for families and children ages 6 and older. This program will be hosted in English. Space is limited; registration required. Register each individual participant.
Disfruta de una tarde de creatividad y comunidad en familia con Art Students League of Denver (ASLD). Desarrolla tus habilidades artísticas y expresa tu imaginación en este tiempo que compartiremos con la artista invitada Kit Hernandez.
En noviembre vamos a aprender sobre la vibrante tradición de arte mexican de la hojalata. Celebra la historia variada y el colorido trabajo artesanal, mientras aprendes a hacer un estupendo adorno artístico de hojalata (lata) para alegrar cualquier ocasión.

About the branch
The fully renovated Anythink Perl Mack serves the North Denver community with a variety of spaces and programs for all ages. This sustainable facility includes a children’s pavilion, teen space, computer lab and program space. The landscaped site also includes a community garden, maintained by local community members in partnership with Denver Urban Gardens.
