Wilderness in the City: Nature Club

Gather in our certified nature explore classroom (backyard) for a bilingual outdoor play session and learn about the differences between an insect and other types of bugs.
Go on a bug hunt to find, catch, identify and release interesting bugs.
The program will be held in English and Spanish, with staff from the Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership. Since we’re meeting outside, please bring your own water and sunscreen if you’re able. A summer treat will be provided, while supplies last. This program may be canceled or moved indoors due to inclement weather. Please check the event calendar for cancelation notices before the program. Appropriate for families. No advanced registration necessary.
