Enjoy an afternoon of family creativity, refreshments and community with the Art Students League of Denver (ASLD).
Develop your art skills and express your imagination during our time together with a guest artist. For our October craft, create Spooky Solar Lanterns using locally-made Ball jars. Draw and cut silhouettes, glue them into the jars, then add some spooky touches. Finish your lantern with a solar panel LED lid, and set it out to light the night. Appropriate for families and children ages 6 and older. Space is limited; registration required. Register each individual participant.
Disfrute de una tarde de creatividad familiar, refrigerios y comunidad con la Art Students League of Denver (ASLD). Desarrolle sus habilidades artísticas y exprese su imaginación durante nuestro rato junto con un artista invitado. Para nuestra manualidad de octubre, crea escalofriantes faroles solares con frascos de fabricación local. Dibuja y corta siluetas, pégalas en los frascos y luego agrega unos toques escalofriantes. The fully renovated Anythink Perl Mack serves the North Denver community with a variety of spaces and programs for all ages. This sustainable facility includes a children’s pavilion, teen space, computer lab and program space. The landscaped site also includes a community garden, maintained by local community members in partnership with Denver Urban Gardens.
