Come make mosaics and learn about bioplastics!

Join an instructor from Museo de las Americas in conjunction with CU Boulder's College of Engineering and Applied Science and The ATLAS Institute to learn about bioplastic materials and how they are made, used, and decomposed in the natural environment. Also gain historical awareness of the art of mosaic, what it was used to represent, and the bioplastic resources used to create it. In addition, we will learn about reusable materials used by the people of Mesoamerica.
Appropriate for teens. This program will be hosted in English. Space is limited; registration required.

Acompaña a un instructor del Museo de las Americas junto con la Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias Aplicadas de la Universidad de Colorado en Boulder y The ATLAS Institute para aprender sobre materiales bioplásticos y cómo se hacen y descomponen en el ambiente natural.
