Get a jump on your NaNoWriMo goals (or simply your dreams of writing a novel) and dive into the popular Steampunk writing genre — an iconic blend of retro science fiction and modern science fact.
Learn how you can use history’s realities and fantasies, the past’s imagined futures, and a combination of character and world building labs to inspire and develop your writing in any genre. Explore the real history of the Victorian period, including discussions of colonialism, classism, suffragism and more. Light refreshments will be provided. Program provided by STEMpunkED - Living History STEM + Arts & Humanities Programs.
