Get a taste of what it’s like to play in a rock band! Jam with professional music instructors, try out real instruments like electric guitars and keyboards, and learn a song along the way.

Want to bring an instrument to play or keep practicing after the program? Check out an instrument from our [TryIts collection] and keep the music going at home!

Appropriate for ages 13 and older. This program will be hosted in English. Space is limited; registration required. Please visit our online calendar to register.

About the branch

Anythink Huron Street is a 25,000-square-foot library located at the intersection of Conifer and Huron streets in Thornton. On Feb. 6, 2010, this fantastic facility opened its doors to library customers in the communities of Northglenn, Thornton, Federal Heights and surrounding areas. Anythink Huron Street is Gold LEED certified and includes fun, inspiring spaces for all ages to enjoy.
