Dig into the joys of gardening with Chef Andrea Condes of Four Directions Cuisine in this hands-on, family-friendly workshop.
Learn how to start your own windowsill herb garden using easy-to-grow plants like mint, oregano, and basil – perfect for small spaces and big flavor. Chef Andrea, founder of Four Directions Cuisine, blends her Indigenous heritage with culinary expertise to share plant knowledge rooted in sustainability and tradition. Discover how herbs elevate your cooking and boost your health, then plant your own seeds to take home and grow. Please bring a small recycled container to plant in – like an egg carton, plastic salad or takeout container, or cardboard tube. This helps us reduce waste, and as a thank-you, you’ll receive a complimentary Ute blue cornmeal sugar cookie. Appropriate for all ages. This program will be held in English. Space is limited; registration required.
