If your household had an income of $67,000 or less in 2024, come to Anythink Commerce City to file your tax return for FREE with IRS-certified preparers and find out if you qualify for the FATC. This free tax assistance is offered in partnership with the Adams County Health Department and Tax Help Colorado.
Please bring all necessary and applicable documents listed below:
• Your Photo ID
• Social Security Card or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) for each family member on your return
• W-2s, 1099s and all other 2024 tax-related documents
• Self-employed/contractor paperwork: 1099-Misc, 1099-K and record of all income and expenses
• Education expenses paperwork: Account statement and 1098-T
• Childcare expenses paperwork: Childcare provider name, address, phone number and the total paid
• Charitable donation receipts
• Form 1095-A, if your health insurance was purchased through the healthcare marketplace
• A copy of your 2023 tax return, if available
• If opting for direct deposit, you need your bank information including your checking or savings account number and bank routing number
Appropriate for adults. No advanced registration is required. Participants will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis and sessions will last approximately 30 minutes to an hour. Tax help will be offered in English, Spanish, Arabic, and other languages. For couples filing for joint returns, both spouses much be present to sign the required forms. Please note that tax preparers will only be able to assist with in-scope taxes.

With an energy-efficient structure and sleek design, Anythink Commerce City features a children’s pavilion, computer lab with ADA workstations and a teen area. A reading nook with fireplace looking out onto an enclosed garden offers a place of quiet reflection for visitors to enjoy. Sustainable features of the building include Solatubes, carpeting made from recycled materials, geothermal heating and cooling, and a green roof above the children’s pavilion planted with xeric local flora. The landscaped site also includes a community garden, maintained by local community members in partnership with Denver Urban Gardens.
