Kids will learn the basics of plant care and design their own magical miniature world – right inside a teacup!

Using tiny plants, pebbles, moss, and a sprinkle of imagination, create a charming fairy garden to take home. Whether your child is a garden gnome in training or a curious creative, this enchanting activity is sure to delight.

Appropriate for ages 8 to 12. This program will be hosted in English and Spanish.

Supplies are limited; registration required.Register each child who will be participating.

Los niños aprenderán lo básico del cuidado de las plantas y diseñarán su propio mundo mágico en miniatura ¡dentro de una taza de té! Usando plantitas, piedrecitas, musgo y una pizca de imaginación, crearemos un encantador jardín de hadas para llevar a casa. Si tu niño es un aprendiz de nomo de jardín o un curioso creador, esta encantadora actividad seguramente lo va a deleitar.
 
Apropiado para edades de 8 a 12 años. Este programa se ofrecerá en español y en inglés.

About the branch

Anythink Huron Street is a 25,000-square-foot library located at the intersection of Conifer and Huron streets in Thornton. On Feb. 6, 2010, this fantastic facility opened its doors to library customers in the communities of Northglenn, Thornton, Federal Heights and surrounding areas. Anythink Huron Street is Gold LEED certified and includes fun, inspiring spaces for all ages to enjoy.
